Vlog: A Boodle Salo-Salo at Boy Zugba

Boy Zugba is a personal favorite. Not only because of its hip, relatable and cool interiors but also would the vast array of Filipino food options you can eat inside this homegrown Kusina Bisaya here in CDO. I got invited together with a couple of bloggers to a Boodle Salo-Salo early this month. Watch this video for a snippet of our Boodle Salo-Salo at Boy Zugba. This August they’ve launched a new product just in time for the CDO fiesta – it’s called the Boodle2x for Two. It’s two different affordable boodle attack packages good for two. I call it the […]

Have a #JollyBreak, Have a KitKat Mix-ins!

We all know Jollibee. A household name to all Filipinos around the globe. From its humble beginning as an ice cream stall to becoming the biggest food chain in the Philippines. Not only that as they are also a food haven from all ages. Recently, we (The CDO Bloggers) got invited to a product launch. A product whom I was not surprised anymore as other bloggers around the Philippines posted their new sundae – the Kitkat Mix-ins! Little did I know that this product launch would turn out to be a Jollibee “Kiddie-of-all-Ages” Party. Yes, you read it right. Our […]

Humba and Salucara Festival at Iponan, #CDO

You want Humba and Salucara? I bet! Barangay Iponan is proud of their delicacies. It was such an honor to be invited as one of the judges to the recently concluded Humba and Salucara Festival led by their very active Barangay Chairman Anthony “Gaga” O. Brellita. Daghang Salamat, Kap! Humba is pickled big and fatty slices of pork, cooked until the meat’s oil is extracted and blended with the gravy. – Sandayong.com Salucara is a local delicacy made of the same ingriendients we use for Puto, but cooked like a hot cake. I arrived at Iponan Barangay Hall an hour before […]

Boyong’s Hot and Spicy Special Bagoong and Eat like a Lil Dino

I have heard about Boyong’s Special Bagoong and I must say that Boyong’s is making noise not only in Cagayan de Oro but also with neighboring cities and islands in the Philippines. So what’s the catch? Their Cagayan de Oro made Shrimp Paste. What’s the buzz? Aside from their original, best seller spicy bagoong – they are now introducing another flavor – the Boyong’s Hot and Spicy Bagoong. WARNING: Make sure a glass of water is ready before digging in your breakfast, lunch or dinner as it will be surely HOT and SPICY. It’s no joke, when they say it […]

TGI Fridays Made Our 2nd Month worth Remembering

This is not my first time in T.G.I. Fridays Centrio Mall, CDO. I, together with the CDO Bloggers was invited to their media launch a few months ago. I’ve been always impressed with how the Bistro Group (TGI Fridays, Itallianis, etc) treat their customers. They have been dear to their customers and if I may add they have been listening carefully to all their patrons. One example of that is the text hotline where you can send in your suggestions, complaints or anything. In just a few minutes, their text hotline will reply – Just totally AMAZING! Last month I […]

The Friday Fever at T.G.I. Fridays!

It was last year when Jacqs (cagayandeoro.info), the CDO Bloggers Org Secretary told me about T.G.I. Friday’s. As part of the CDO Bloggers, we are also in the look for something new and interesting within the Metro. So, I emailed Bistro Group, the mother company of T.G.I. Friday’s to request for a tour and help them make their brand visible in the CDO Blog-osphere which they granted. Last January 24, 2013 the T.G.I. Friday’s Media launch was held. Present in the dinner were prominent faces from the Cagayan de Oro Press and Media which included Kasamang Annaliza of RMN DXCC. T.G.I. Friday’s was […]
